ABOUT AUBREY CROOK, Ed.S.
In his first year at Henderson Middle School, Mr. Crook brings 20 years of teaching experience and knowledge to the classroom. Prior to coming to Henderson Middle School, he served as the Director of STEM Programs for the Georgia Youth Science & Technology Center, Inc. (GYSTC) at Kennesaw State University. He is a highly effective educator in the fields of science and technology that brings new light and innovation to the classroom and student programs that he creates. In his role at Henderson Middle School, he is committed to promoting student interest and achievement in STEM subject areas. As a leading innovative teacher he has provided quality professional learning and training for teachers of STEM subjects that improve the teaching and learning process for students, served as a teacher coach and has implemented STEM programs that he developed throughout the state at various colleges, universities and school districts. Mr. Crook attributes much of his success as an educator to the implementation of technology and his engaging approach to learning. He is also a presenter of education topics at the local, state and national level. Mr. Crook graduated with B.S. degree in Elementary Education from The University of Alabama at Birmingham, M.Ed. in Instructional Technology from Cambridge College in Boston, Massachusetts and a Ed.S. in Educational Leadership from Georgia College & State University.
